News & Updates
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and the leadership of district assemblies, Dadaba Foundation has commissioned three new boreholes across Ahafo communities. Each site includes hygiene promotion, water-user committees, and a simple fee model to fund maintenance. With safe water within 500 meters, families—especially girls—spend less time fetching water and more time in school.
Our approach to WASH (Water, Sanitation & Hygiene) blends infrastructure with behavior change. Trained community facilitators run sessions on handwashing, safe storage, and latrine use, while our team monitors water quality and uptime. We prioritize local artisans for pump repairs and source parts through approved suppliers to ensure long-term sustainability.
“Access to clean water is a foundation for education and economic dignity. When a community turns on a reliable pump, everything else becomes possible.”
— Dadaba Foundation Programmes Team
Over the next quarter, we’ll scale this model to additional districts and integrate school hygiene clubs. If you’d like to partner with us—through funding, in-kind materials, or technical expertise—please reach out. Together we can accelerate impact across Ghana.

Mo ayɛ ade! The hygiene durbar at the chief’s palace helped a lot. Our JHS pupils now use the veronica buckets and soap you provided.

Can we contribute through Mobile Money for spare parts? The pump caretaker said it will help when a seal spoils during dry season.

Yes please. The water-user committee can share the MoMo number at church and at the information center so everyone contributes small.

Great initiative. Kindly share when the school hygiene clubs start so our SHS mentors can support at the CHPS compound outreach.
